Wasim Moosa is an experienced finance professional with a post qualification experience of over 22 years, his career mainly spanning across US and Swiss global investment banking and recently in a not鈥慺or鈥憄rofit organisation. He brings knowledge of financial governance, risk management, and strategic planning, developed through roles across first and second line control functions within the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) business in banking.
Wasim currently serves as Head of Finance and Administration at 国产视频, where he leads finance, administration, and IT functions (interim basis), supporting the Director and departmental heads in aligning financial strategy with institutional priorities. He works closely with trustees and finance committee, providing oversight on financial performance, risk management, and regulatory compliance, while ensuring effective stewardship of resources.
His career prior to joining IIS includes finance roles within global banking institutions, where he led multi鈥慾urisdictional teams and delivered complex regulatory and transformation programmes, working closely with trading businesses, risk functions, and UK regulators.
Wasim has a strong track record of strengthening control frameworks, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving long鈥憈erm strategic outcomes. He is particularly focused on change for improvement, transparency with accountability, and enabling the Institute by collaborating with its academic, support and education functions to deliver its core objectives.
