Nevin Reda is Associate Professor of Muslim Studies at Emmanuel College of Victoria University in the University of Toronto. Her research interests include the poetics and hermeneutics of Qur示anic narrative structure, the Hebrew Bible and the Qur示an, spiritually integrative approaches to the Qur示an, Islamic feminist hermeneutics, and Islamic ethical鈥搇egal theory. Her publications include The al-Baqara Crescendo: Understanding the Qur示an鈥� s Style, Narrative Structure, and Running Themes (2017) and a co-edited volume (with Yasmin Amin), Islamic Interpretive Tradition and Gender Justice: Processes of Canonization, Subversion, and Change (2020). Her articles include 鈥淩eform of U峁Ｅ玪 al-Fiqh and Marriage: A Spiritually Integrative Approach鈥�, published in the edited volume Justice and Beauty in Muslim Marriage: Towards Egalitarian Ethics and Laws (2022), and 鈥淐hristian Practical Theology and Islam: Disciplinary Intersections and Opportunities for Growth鈥�, which is forthcoming in the International Journal of Practical Theology.

Maha Yaziji is an Education Officer for Constituency Studies in the Department of Academic Research. She holds an MA in Applied Linguistics from Goldsmiths College, London and a BA in English Literature from Al-Baath University in Homs, Syria. She also completed the Graduate Programme in Islamic Studies and Humanities (GPISH) at the Institute of Ismaili Studies.
